Welcome to one 22-year-old girl’s flailing, wheezing, and generally un-coordinated journey to run her first half marathon.
This blog will serve as a platform to track my training schedule (AKA hold me accountable) from week to week, to discuss topics from nutrition to types of training (as I learn along the way), and to share the woes and successes of the training process (so others may share the pain).
I’ve titled the blog “Let’s Run The Day,” to entice others to run alongside me, learn with me, teach me, and wave to me on race day so I look like I have cool runner friends. I hope this blog serves as a small forum where past, present, and future half marathon runners can comment and share their experiences.
You can expect one to two posts per week during the 12 training weeks leading up the race (why is it that 12 weeks seems like an awfully short amount of time all of the sudden?).
This site was designed by my talented and generous friend Mackenzie Cherban.
